Gary Seigel, Ph.D. (www.garyseigel.com) is a writing and communication consultant and keynote speaker who helps business professionals build rapport and communicate difficult messages tactfully without letting the ’Inner Jerk’ emerge.
His interactive and entertaining, humorous, story-driven keynotes and workshops offer customized strategies that help employees craft their messages carefully, with clarity and vision, so the words are free of mistakes and liabilities that can derail company goals and zap productivity.
Imagine overcoming the challenge of engaging in a difficult conversation without the fear of sabotaging a potential project or a job.
Or consider the time you’d save if you could write your emails in half the time it takes now or learn methods to start longer proposals without staring endlessly at the screen or zoning out.
In this age of ever-changing technology, experts say that never before in the history of man has clear, concise and FAST communication been more important than now.
Gary’s unique blend of wit, candor, and knowledge helps companies re-shape their communication environment. His interactive approach makes learning fun and kinesthetic: “It sticks,” an HR director said recently. “Even months after hearing Gary speak, I can remember his tricks.”
A corporate trainer since 1999, Gary’s clients include long term contracts with numerous private and government agencies including National Seminars, The City of Glendale (CA), the Motion Picture Pension and Health Funds, The City of Hope, Rand Corporation, numerous school systems, federal and state departments, city governments and high-tech corporations.
His clients say he is “an entertaining and enthusiastic motivator.” “Unbelievable the way he takes a potentially boring subject and keeps us riveted for as whole day.” “He really did a fantastic job at making it interesting and practical, and gave me hope for turning a seemingly impossible situation into the possible.” “He told us just the right amount of personal stories to hold our interest, and his sense of humor is great!” “It was helpful to realize that I’m not the only one who feels the way I do. I feel comforted that I can accomplish a lot more than I ever thought I could.”
Most recently Dr. Gary has been a guest speaker at conferences conducted by The City of Hope, Dole Corporation, Ishae, National Speaker’s Western Conference in San Francisco, Datagraphics in Ontario, The El Dorado Superior Court, and American Society of Trainers and Developers.
